Hi everyone, I've been stalking this website for months during my ttc journey and now I get to write my own bfp story, I'm so excited! Don't give up hope, it is possible even with obstacles. My husband has problems with delayed ejaculation so we've been using 5ml needle-less sterile syringes to insert his swimmers into my vagina (ivi). I will write our method and then my Symptoms By DPO. Things done different this month: I started taking seven Seas folic acid with b vitamin complex. Prayed almost every day and slept with a small moonstone crystal in my bed (supposed to help with pregnancy), lay down for 45 minutes after ivi. We dtd three days before O, the day before and on the day itself. I got a strong positive at 12 dpo! My first ever bfp!!
OUR METHOD: he ejaculates into a disposable bowl at his own pace. We let the sperm liquefy for about 15 minutes while keeping it warm and dark under the sheets with us. Then we open a fresh syringe and pull the plunger up and down with nothing in it at first (rubber plungers can hurt sperm so use just a plastic one). Then SLOWLY draw the ejaculate up into the syringe and gently tap out any air. I lie down with my hips elevated on a pillow and insert the syringe until it's just below my cervix. Then SLOWLY push down the plunger so it takes about thirty seconds to depress in total. Coat the cervix opening in sperm basically lol. I try to orgasm once the sperm are in and stay lying down.
MY SYMPTOMS BY DPO:
1dpo: watery cm. Nothing else of note.
2dpo: sensitive nipples. Creamy cm.
3dpo: school glue cm. Very cranky!
4dpo: increased sex drive so dtd again. Creamy cm. Gassy.
5dpo: feeling weirdly hot when I'm not doing anything, like hot flashes? Watery cm. Gassy.
6dpo: hungry. Noooo sex drive. Bloated. School glue cm. Worried I'm out this month.
7dpo: bloated. School glue cm.
8dpo: acne break out. One weird dizzy spell. egg white cm! Dtd again in case I ovulated large but turns out I didn't lol.
9dpo: BIG temperature dip and mild cramps. Implantation? Egg white cm. Still bloated.
10dpo: BIG temperature rise to above where it was before dip. Hot flashes. Acne. Suspecting somethings going on.
11dpo: watery cm again. Feeling meh.
12dpo: felt off so did Internet cheapie preg test in morning. Faint positive! Ran out and bought a Frer, much stronger bfp!! Thanked God!
13 dpo: another bfp, stronger line. Yay!!! Told husband at work. He smiled so hard I thought his face would crack.
I'm currently 17dpo and CB digital says 2-3 weeks pregnant. Praying this is a sticky bean! Good luck to everyone ttcing. Stay hopeful xxx
