A year and a half wait

I've been reading these posts off and on for so long, I love them. My husband and I have a beautiful 3 year old daughter and have been trying for exactly a year and a half. My journey was complicated because I breastfed my daughter until she was 2 and a half. I didn't get my cycle back until after she turned 2. For the 6 months I continued to breastfeed with my cycle, we tried but assumed my prolactin levels were just too high. Once I weaned her fully is when my OB started the one year of trying time table. I had normal 28 day cycles for 6 months, which dropped to 24-25 day cycles...still no luck. I started taking 800mg of vitex daily 3 months ago, and within one cycle, I was back up to 29 days. I fell pregnant on my 3rd cycle. I plan to continue the vitex through my first trimester to help keep producing enough progesterone. We dtd CD 11 and 15(not sure which stuck!) Here we're my symptoms! O-(cd 14) ewcm 1dpo-3dpo sore nipples and breasts (normal post ovulation sign for me) 5dpo I had REALLY bad gas pains after drinking a Coke...for like hours. Also started to feel sick 6dpo my sickness took hold, flu symptoms began 8dpo I got the bad gas pains again from drinking a Coke!! 10 dpo still have cough, congestion. Had random diarrhea today. Nipples getting sorry again (this happened last cycle too at same time) 11dpo still sick, breasts sore now with nips (still normal for pms) and lots of wet cm 12dpo cramping started, bbs still sorry, still coughing 13dpo all same as yesterday 14 dpo same 15 dpo - diarrhea again, didn't test because I thought maybe vitex was making AF late 16&17 dpo puked immediately upon waking up 17dpo- tested with dark BFP!!! Minus the puking after 14dpo my only abnormal symptoms was the random diarrhea. Everything else was IDENTICAL to normal pms for me! 100% thought we were out before 2ww began! I'm definitely certain vitex helped me with progesterone in second part of my cycle, it also seemed to reduce pms symptoms for me as well. Will definitely start taking once cycle returns right away next time! Also, we've tried preseed, green tea for cm, Mucinex, bd every other day after AF...none of which we used this cycle. This was my last cycle before going to doc to get diagnosed with "secondary infertility"... I'd say doing your own research and learning your body is the best way to begin the journey, not have to fumble into after months of trying. My OB was of zero help in this process, and I would've probably ended up down a long expensive road had I not taken things into my own hands with a little research and paying attention to my cycle symptoms!

2008 BFP - NO/Little SYMPTOMS - ENDO - LATE OVULATION!

Hi Ladies. I used to stalk this site way back in the day, before I got married and had my DS. I could have sworn that I had posted it, but maybe the website was updated and it got lost in the transition. I feel like to help the ladies out... here is what I went through... and yes I still remember this from 10 years ago. Starting on 6/13/2008: CD 42 - 43) cycles were really long and abnormal – I found out my right ovary was behind my uterus which caused some pain aka endo – just a few days prior. No EWCM or any noticeable CM two days before O’day. We did BD just about every day though. CD 44 O’day) We didn’t BD we were actually on a plane on our way home to move our stuff to where my ex was stationed. 1-4DPO) Mostly visited family, BD maybe twice. No symptoms 5-7DPO) Started the long drive back home with our stuff in-tow. On the road. No BD. No symptoms. 8-9DPO) Got home, unloaded moving truck, no symtoms. 10DPO) BD. Notice nips are lighter in color with a darker hued ring on the edge and slight redness on the actual nips itself. Shrugged it off as too much rough play. AF like cramps. Freaking out with how many black-widows have taken home on our porch. 11-12DPO) Nips still same in color and AF cramps get stronger. Tell ex that AF is coming. 13DPO) Nips still the same, not sore. Still believing that AF is coming but now confused why cramps have stopped. Ex says I'm pregnant. Not sure so I buy a FRER decided to take it the next day. 14DPO) Took FRER in the afternoon when we were doing laundry. POAS, set it on the counter and completely forgot about it. Went out to check on clothes and came back to find a noticeable second pink line - BFP!! I was in disbelief and cried out "BABE!!" My husband immediately came to my side thinking that I needed to be saved from a black widow or something. I showed the stick to him and he hugged me and started to cry a little. I was still silent and in shock. REMAINDER OF PREGNANCY) No symptoms. I craved toasted subway sandwiches and milk which I would down about 3-4 gallons a week... no queasiness... no sore boobs (although the my nip color went back to normal after 5-6 weeks). I went on to give birth to a handsome and sweet boy a little early but he's healthy and fills my heart with joy. Things I did: NO STRESS or Obsession during the TWW. My first cycle using Liquid VITEX - hits the body faster than pills but is a pain to find now a days. Anything is possible ladies. Baby Dust!

I started following the different post on here about 4 years ago. We have been trying for that long!! I’ve had two very early miscarriages in the first 2 years we were trying. I’m 31 and my husband is 44 so we figure it just want meant for us to have another. We still continued to try but not really. We weren’t charting or anything and we’ve just stayed off of BC since we weren’t getting pregnant anyways. About 7 months ago we made a few major changes in life. I started working and DH quit his full time, constant over time, stressful and crazy job. We’ve been so much happier and less stress!! My cycles are very regular with a 25-26 day cycle. I can usually tell you 2-3 days before I start. This month was different. Because I don’t chart o didn’t keep up with much Dec 31st was first day of LMP it was a normal cycle. Didn’t notice anything to be abnormal. Around cd 14-16 we had really really awesome BD!! Like I remember saying if we do this would be when lol Cd 26 day AF is to arrive I got sulfur burps. This is not abnormal for me but I kept them for three days instead of the normal 24 hours. Cd 27 woke up with horrible diarrhea for about 3 hours and still had sulfur burps. Couldn’t go to work and felt completely drained. Slept all day!! Was nauseous on and off Cd28 still had slight upset stomach and not as many burps. Still nauseous and so tired. Cd 29 naustead all day. Went to work and decided if I didn’t start there then I was testing when I got home. 2 test later and we are positive strong!! I go tomorrow to dr to be sure. Fxs this peanut stays!! It’s been so long that it doesn’t feel real. Stick with it ladies. When it’s your time you’ll be ready!!

I’m so excited to finally get to post my BFP story. I’ve watched this site for a while and I love reading everyone’s stories. First let me say that this was our second cycle trying to conceive and here is a list of things I did differently. 1.Took prenatal vitamins! 2.Used Ovulation test. 3.Less caffeine 4. Tried not to stress! 5.Legs up after sex. I personally think the ovulation test and prenatals are what helped us this cycle. I believe I had a chemical last month I had a vvfl and slowly but surely it got lighter and then AF came. So I’m very excited about this! Now to the good part my list of symptoms! CD 17: positive opk! Did the baby dance! CD 18: peak opk! (Crampy, threw up, feeling weak) CD19: O day! Did the baby dance (feeling better, slight cramps could be from gas) CD20:1dpo ( creamy lotion cm, tired (could be unrelated) felt a few “pinches” CD21: 2dpo (Feeling normal) lots of cm CD22:3dpo (Feeling normal) left ovary pain. CD23:4dpo (feeling normal) CD24:5dpo(feeling normal) CD25:6dpo(feeling normal, gassy, went to bed early) CD26:7dpo(feeling normal, slept so much today) CD27:8dpo( Feeling normal, slight cramping in back, BFP?!, lots of CM) CD28 ( Feeling normal, more pinching and pulling in my lower abdomen, took another test definitely a BFP!!! I don’t have any “real” symptoms yet. I didn’t get symptoms with my son until I was over 6 weeks so I’m not worried. My line is way darker than last month with my chemical. I will continue to test to watch my line progression. Praying for a sticky bean! My AF is due in 5 days praying she never comes! Good luck ladies! Baby dust to everyone.

I've been part of this ttc community since 2013, and I am so excited to say that after 5.5 years and $20k that this ttc veteran is graduating! I used to think BFP stories like mine were super scary. I would scroll through and think "wow, I can't imagine waiting years for a bfp" and "no way that'll be me". I think most long term ttcers agree that we all felt that way until one day we looked up and realized it *was* us. It happens slowly and somehow all at once. So if you're reading this, whether you're brand new to trying or you've already crossed into infertility territory, please know that the journey is not so scary. At times very hard and harrowing, but nothing you can't handle... one day at a time! Anyway, here's the short version of what these past few years entailed: We were up against borderline low motility with no other known issues. We proceeded more slowly than many couples do, mostly because (in case you didn't already know) this shizz is expensive, lol. We did 3 unsuccessful IUIs before taking a break and switching to a clinic with much more personalized care. We did a mini (minimal stimulation) ivf in 2017 with a "freeze all" protocol and had our first transfer in Feb 2018 with two great embryos that didn't take. That let us with one, and perhaps they saved the best for last because the late November transfer was the miracle we'd been waiting for. I'm pregnant! It still sounds so surreal. My beta HCG numbers are within range and rising appropriately. We are still deep in prayer that this little one stays healthy and strong, but I have done by best to lay my worries at God's feet and let them go. Don't worry, I won't deny you the symptoms! Two days after our 3-day transfer (5dpo equivalent) I had really terrible period like cramps on and off for a few hours. By four days past transfer (7dpo equivalent) I was running hot and just not feeling great. This went on for a few days. I can't say it's nausea so much as just feeling gross all of the sudden, and I was more prone to an indigestion feeling after I ate, which is a symptom that has continued and worsened. By 6dpt (9dpo), my bbs were getting tender. Bbs are such a tricky symptom, and mine usually get sore around 9dpo so I didn't think much of it. But they stayed sore, which was unusual. I took all of these "symptoms" with a grain of salt, but looking back they paint a clear bfp picture to me. I also had a very calm and serene feeling for much of the tww that maybe it had worked. During my meditation practice I felt very grounded and nurturing and connected to our embryo, like I was Mother Earth and this little seed had taken root and sprouted within me. Sounds nutty but hey -- the beta came back pregnant! :D I love every symptom though. Indigestion? Yay! Hot flashes? Bring em on! Sore bbs? The sorer the merrier! Side effects of being long-term ttc I guess. Anyway, that's my story. This community offered me so much support and wisdom over the years, and I'm so grateful. I'm humbled by what these past years have taught me and I can't wait to take those lessons in faith, patience, and perseverance with me as I move forward. You're all in my prayers. If you're reading this and wondering if it could be you, YES, it could be you. Through God all things are possible. Take a breath and know that you can't be anywhere other than exactly where you are right now. Relax. All is coming. Faith, trust, and baby dust, Spazzle

Hey Ladies, This is my first time posting here, I want to share my experience with you, hopefully it could help another sister somewhere :) My cycles are from 24 days to 27 days. I usually ovulate around day 12, I had sex once on day 11 and day 15. I didn't track my ovulation. I used lubricant (we were rushing to get busy, no time for full on fore play lol) I was not trying for a baby, I wasn't preventing one either, although I did use preseed, I have always used this because it is generally better for our insides! They should market this for TTC as well as trying to stay healthy. I got a positive pregnancy test on the day before my expected period 12DPO, boxing day. It was very faint. I will list my symptoms and comment on the stereotypical symptoms that are generally looked for. Implantation bleed: I didn't have this at all. I had a lower back ache, on the right hand side for about 3 days from 8DPO.I believe this may have been my implantation. During this painful time -_- I had a tiny spot of pink cm, so tiny I could've missed it. I always look at a tissue after wiping (bad habit). I have recently started getting lower back aches as a period sign, so I just ignored it. --Increased CM: I didn't have this either. The day of my exp period, I did have ewcm which was very unusual for me. It wasn't a lot either. --Sore chest: This I did have from about 9DPO. It wasn't extreme pain, I've had worse with a normal period. My bbs have increased a bit in size too. Again, I believed it could be my period. --Increased appetite: I haven't eaten properly in three days!! No appetite. --Frequent urination: My bladder was pretty normal lol! --Mood swings: I wasn't as emotional as I am before a period. But from the day of my exp period, I felt different. Basically, the only major symptom that made me think I may be pregnant was: CONTRACTIONS after intercourse 13DPO. They lasted for like 5-10 minutes and my lower abdomen was cramping like crazy. It had never happened before. I had more symptoms with my period than I do pregnancy. I was planning to start trying for a baby in 2019. I wasn't over the moon when I found out, but I am warming to the idea of becoming a mum. I'm in my late twenties, but I don't think I have lived enough yet. There's no perfect time, i'm going to go for it and stay positive. God bless and good luck ladies!!!!DISCLAIMER: I hate the term 'baby dust' but how about my honest advice, do not stress, do not bother with all these crazy trackers and checking CM. Do not balance on your head after intercourse lol, I did NONE of that. My attitude was that God will bless me, I shouldn't have to work so hard for something so natural. I prayed to God for a baby and successful pregnancy earlier this year. I just wasn't trying for it now or expecting it so soon, I was forward thinking. It may not work for everyone, but keep the right attitude and avoid looking for stereotypical symptoms, you may be different, like me! Lovely A xoxox

The name lastleaf comes from watching bugslife (disney) with my adopted daughter a hundred moons ago. Deciding winter is coming (cut off age to have baby) and the last leaf of fall was about to fall...Against motility issues that went from a super low percentage to 0 percent motile. Turning 45 with that issue looming in the background, 17 year relationship ending and was ready to defer my baby dreams when a friend asked to surrogate for me. I decided WHAT DO I HAVE TO LOSE? I started reading EVERYTHING on treating low motility. The count was 57million morphology was terrible too! I began a STRICT vitamin program this past summer. I've read so many threads and posts to give me insight and to keep me going when I felt like calling it quits. I decided if we got a BFP I would share our story in Hope's of passing on hope. 2000mg Vitamin C 100mg Zinc 200 mcg Selenium 1000mg L-Carnitine 1000mg L-Arginine 10mg Lycopine 100mg CoQ10 1000 mcg B12 800mg Ashwandga root 450mg Vitamin E 450mg Saw Palmetto 1000 iui D3......EVERY DAY (split up 1/2 twice a day) I used mostly Walmart spring alley or walgreens finest nutrition. And 2 rounds of antibiotics in 6 weeks time for good measure. I immediately notice a consistency change in semen. I didn't get a follow up analysis because of the BFP literally just happened! Cycle One : We used clearblue digital OPK, and some cheapies OPK,and preseed. We ICI on cycle day 12 13 14 15. With ovulation on cycle day 14. It ended in a BFN. I went back to reading and discovered ladies were praising softcups! I learned sperm needed a 10 hr head start for capacitation to be able to fertilize. We immediately decided to incorporate softcups into our program. This is what made it happen for us.... Because of my surrogates remarkably consistent cycle timing (which hinders most) timing wasnt an issue for us. We always started testing for O day 10 at 10 am with clearblue and at 6 PM with cheapy. After smiley we used cheapy until line faded (because clearblue is expensive) incase something did change . Surrogate inseminated between 9am to 10 am. She coated with preseed first and then inseminated sample on cervix and immediately put in softcup. CD 12 ICI CD 13 ICI (SOLID SMILEY 2PM) CD 14 ICI 8 DPO ONLY SYMPTOM WAS FATIGUE BFN 9 DP0 CLEAR THIN MUCUS (MORE THAN NORMAL)BFN 10 DPO CRAMPY STILL MUCUSY BFN 11DPO RIGHT BEFORE MID NIGHT THAILAND TIME (IM ON HOLIDAY FOR 2 MONTHS) BFP! HAPPY 2019 TO ME! 2ND CYCLE I BELIEVE IT WAS MOST DEFINITELY THE SOFTCUPS, VITAMINS, AND PRESEED THAT BROUGHT HOME THE BACON! PS. We started mucinex to help with CM 7 days before predicted O day.... GOODLUCK TO ALL. OH yeah, wondfo is the test we got our BFP on. Save you some MONEY and get them on ebay. You get 50 O test and 50 preg. test it helps with POAS ADDICTION.

Hello all, I'm so excited to FINALLY be able to write my own story, after three years lurking and reading your emotional stories. I must say, I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for sites like this one, thanks to all of you and your successes I tried once again. We started TTC by the beginning of 2016, and we were very excited. I thought it would take 2-3 months maximum, as my doctor never said I had problems whatsoever. I grew impatient after 6 months, I started to wonder if something was wrong after a year of trying. I went to my doctor and he deferred me to a fertility specialist who ran some tests. Everything was apparently fine, and she recommended us to keep trying. However (and this was KEY), I felt something was not right with me and two years after we started this adventure, I decided to switch specialists. I found an amazing doctor who ran some more tests, and my gut was right: something was not right. Two days after changing doctors I found out that I needed two remove a couple of uterine cysts, that I had endometriosis (grade IV, so severe, and with a low AMH) and I needed a laparoscopy ASAP; and that it would be nearly impossible to conceive naturally. I was desolated, but I proceed with all their recommendations. My laparoscopy was a success (one tube was removed, too), and as I was healing quickly, my doctor recommended to start IVF. The first round was on July 2018, not a great one as I overreacted to the meds and only got two viable 3-day embryo. That cycle (FET because I was risking OHSS) was negative, but we were right to continue. We started our second cycle on September, and it was even worse than the first one: just one day 3 embryo survived. We decided to go ahead with the transfer, knowing it was our last chance (it was draining us economically, too), it was also a FET (again, risk of OHSS), but for some reason, this one decided to stick with us. I'll never forget my face when I saw that second line for the first time. I was pregnant, at last. This little one's decided to tell us that 2019 is gonna be magical. We couldn't be happier, three years later, here we are. With this, I just want to tell all of you that I've been there, with the tears and the "why is it not me". But here I am, and it's a miracle. I always write everything down, so here I go with my "symptons", which I didn't really have :D but I know how important they are when someone is as anxious as us. FET day - 3 dpFET: Nothing special, bloated because of the meds and very light cramps here and there. Normal. 8 dpo (4 dpFET): cramps and a runny nose in the morning, nothing special as my DH was down with the flu (seriously, he was sick on Christmas Day!) 9dpo (5 dpFET): cramps, sore breasts (but def because of the meds) 10 dpo (6 dpFET): sore breasts, very dry throat when I wake up 11 dpo (7 dpFET): sore breasts 12 dpo (8 dpFET): sore breasts 13 dpo (9 dpFET): VERY hungry, light cramps at night 14 dpo (10 dpFET): cramps in the morning, hungry, frequent urination, dry throat (there I thought I was starting with the flu) 15 dpo (11 dpFET): NOTHING, but I decide to test late afternoon with diluted urine (OPK, as I didn't have any FRER) and it's positive. I start wondering something's up. 16 dpo (12 dpFET): Beta day, but can't wait and do a One Step with very diluted urine by lunch time just to confirm I was out. It comes positive within seconds, even with that kind of urine. My beta is also positive. Thinking back, I did some different things this cycle that I think helped: * Cut caffeine (apart from green tea) * Drink herbal infusions with ginger on it. * I threw away all my supplements, vitamins etc (apart from the ones prescribed by my doctor: Folic Acid, Iodine and B12) and tried to follow an anti-inflammatory diet as much as I could, as I thought it would keep the endo in check. It's worked. No salt, sugar or dairy products (almond milk on ocassion); and emphasizing on fruits, vegetables, lean protein (mainly white-meat poultry, beans and eggs), nuts, seeds, and healthy fats. * Drink water and sports drinks such as Powerade Zero (I did my own mix at home) * Have lots of work (I seriously didn't have time to Google anything, which is always a plus!) And that's basically it. It's a dream come true, just in time for the New Year. It seemed impossible, but here we are, knowing that WE CAN. Lots of baby dust to all of you, and good luck! xx

Got my bfp, faint on 9dpo. Still waiting to confirm with blood work but here were my symptoms. 1 dpo- no sore boobs (always get sore boobs 1 day after ovulation). Strange warm feeling in belly around lunch time which lasted half an hour. 2 dpo- still no boob soreness, odd. 3 dpo- breasts enlarged but no soreness 4 dpo- vivid dream last night about friend being pregnant and not telling me until 20 weeks, felt so real. Creamy cm when wiped in morning. White staining undies throughout day. Gassy, bloated (too early, but seriously never like this) 5 dpo- more vivid dreams. Peed twice though the night, odd. Lower pelvic pressure, stabbing back right side. 6 dpo- boobs getting sore now, really tender. Lotion like cm. 7 dpo- boobs so so sore, heightened sense of smell I could smell someone's smelly feet at yoga yuck. Sudden wet feeling in undies after yoga 8 dpo- vivid dream about zombies (lol). Boobs are burning. Cm wet. 9 dpo- boob soreness woke me up so tender. Felt like I needed to be sick in middle of night. Wet cm all day. Afternoon light BFP!! 10 dpo- boob soreness as disappeared.. Uh oh I am worried. Poas line seems a tad darker than yesterday.. Fingers crossed it sticks. Read up that it is common for symptoms to come and go with so many hormones. Any way, good luck to everyone xx

Pineapple + Robitussin BFP after 16 months

I have spent a lot of time on this website reading the BFP stories with interest. I’m so excited that I now get to share mine. DH and I have been trying for 16 months. We each have a child from a previous relationship but this will be our first together We found out shortly after ttc that DH had a varicocele, which could have been affecting fertility. He had varicocele surgery primarily because he was experiencing pain, so we do not know what his numbers would have been before the surgery. DH had a varicocele embolisation in late August 2018 - 9 months after we first started ttc. We were told there would be a minimum of 3 months before he would have an improvement in fertility. In the meantime, he did a semen analysis for the infertility clinic and his motility + morphology came back below average. However, the test was within 3 months of his embolisation. Fortunately, my tests came back normal and a dye test in January 2019 showed my tubes were clear. In early December 2018, we found out I was pregnant for the first time (just over 3 months after the surgery). Sadly this ended in a chemical pregnancy just 2 days after the BFP. Since the chemical, I have been even more obsessive with checking my sympoms. This month I ovulated early (I know from temping) so we just had sex 2 days before ovulation, on the day of ovulation and 2 days after ovulation. Things I did differently: 2nd month temping I took 5ml of Robitussin Chesty Cough mixture 3 times a day from 3 days before ovulation to the day of ovulation to increase CM. I cut a pineapple into 5 pieces (including the core) and are equal segments from 1-5dpo. I saw the Bromelain in pineapple can help with implantation. We used Conceive Plus, although have tried it on a few other cycles. On ovulation day, I inserted a menstrual cup to keep the sperm up there as I didn’t have time to lie down. I didn’t have any spotting this month either. With the chemical and my son, I had spotting around 10-11 dpo. This time.. absolutely nothing. Symptoms: 1-2 dpo - nothing 3-6 dpo - sore boobs (common each cycle) + irritable 7dpo-9dpo - itchy nipples and temp seems to be going up at 9dpo 10dpo - very mild nausea when hungry and slight heartburn (so mild I thought I was imagining symptoms) 11dpo - temperature still up and FF has indicated ‘possible triphasic chart’. My nipples are still itchy and had a wave of nausea when I woke up at 5am. I couldn’t resist, so I tested (twice!) this morning. BFPs. It’s my wedding anniversary in 2 days so I’m going to wait and surprise DH

BFP at 11dpo - few real symptoms - TTC month 2

This is going to be a bit long so grab a drink or a snack :) I know pretty much everyone starts off like this... but I can’t believe I’m writing my BFP story on here! I would read the BFP stories on here every single day, some dating back to 2011 (!) and just dream of the day I saw those two beautiful pink lines.. and now I have! I am currently 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant, EDD 12th December 2019. This was the second month TTC for baby #1 for my husband and I, and I can’t believe it happened so quick for us. I hate saying this because it’s so cliché... but I truly do feel blessed. I want to post my story to help out other TTCers in their tww because I had little symptoms that were not AF symptoms and truly thought AF was on the way. Honestly, I’ve had more “pregnancy” symptoms during months when I wasn’t pregnant. Okay, so now onto the good stuff. I used a mix of OPKs (Clearblue digital ovulation tests) and period tracking apps (Flo and Ovia). Usually the apps are pretty accurate but this cycle I ovulated late, got a flashy smiley (‘high’ fertility) on CD16,17 and peak solid smiley on CD 18 (ewcm) and ovulation cramps on CD 19. We BD’d CD 11, 14, 16, 18, 19. Now on to symptoms by DPO... 1dpo - gassy, small ewcm but mostly watery cm, cp medium and soft. 2dpo - slight constipation, creamy/lotion cm, gassy. 3dpo - same 4dpo - constipation, gassy, lots of creamy/lotion cm. 5dpo - stuffy nose like hay fever, constipation, gassy, headache and in the afternoon I had cramps that felt like period cramps. 6dpo - gassy, sticky cm, terrible gas, irritable and super low and hard cervix. 7dpo - vivid dreams (not unusual for this time in my cycle), felt a weird bubble/butterfly feeling in my stomach when I woke up but figured it was just gas, very bloated, big bowel movement and no cm when wiping. During the day I was eating potato chips on the couch (feeling sorry for myself because I felt ‘out’) and a huge glob of saliva just fell out of my mouth. At 7.30pm I felt this weird wave of warmth on the right side of my stomach/uterus area, I can’t explain it other than just this wave of warmth that lasted a minute. Looking back this might have been implantation? 8dpo - vivid dream of taking a FRER and a digital and one said Error and one said Yes. The usual dragging/uncomfortable feeling like AF is on her way. Skin felt warm and I also had a slight thrush-like feeling downstairs (itchy and uncomfortable). Caved and took a FRER at 5pm BFN. Increased smell (could smell my husband’s lingering body odour on the couch after he came home from football training). Sensitive teeth and emotional (teary when watching a reality Paramedic show on TV). 9dpo - full feeling, extremely gassy, loose BM, thrush-like feeling still there, blue veins noticeable on chest however I am quite fair skinned so they are often noticeable (plus last month I was convinced that my large blue veins on my chest and through my nipples meant I was pregnant... and I wasn’t, I’m just pale!). Heaviness in utuerus like AF coming. Burped on and off which is very unusual for me, I’m not a burper. 10dpo - slight nausea at times throughout the day. CP low and hard, cm sticky. Uncomfortable period feeling, tummy pains. Increased appetite and moody. Also, this was really weird and TMI so apologies - at 10.30am I was out shopping in a homewares store and suddenly I had this huge cramp in my tummy like I was about to have diarrhea. I had to race home (luckily I was only a 5-10min drive away) and had diarrhea. 11dpo (day my period was due however I ovulated two days later than previous cycles so who knows) - I woke up at 2am needing to pee, went back to sleep after and had vivid dreams. When I woke up I had cramps and was gassy, weird gas bubbles like popping in my belly. At 8am I got up to have a shower, I was convinced AF was coming but thought I’d take a FRER anyway just to see... and when I got out of the shower and glanced at the test as I walked past I did one of those cartoon double-takes - there was a clear pink second line! I was in total shock. Took a clearblue digital with conception indicator with the same sample and it said Pregnant 1-2weeks! So to recap - my only real symptoms were extreme gas (honestly next level gas, it was insane), bloating, increased hunger, and the weird bowel issues. Since then my boobs have slowly been getting more tender and are definitely getting bigger, my nipples are enlarged, my hair is oilier than normal, increased appetite, I get fatigue around 4pm and have even had a tiny nap a few afternoons, and I am slightly more irritable/moody than normal (although I think if you asked my husband he would say a lot more than normal haha). I still can’t believe I’m pregnant! I’m crossing every finger and toe for a happy healthy sticky little bub.. I’ve been taking FRERs every now and then to make sure my lines are progressing and today at 19dpo the line was so much darker than the control so I’m happy with that! I also ate pineapple core from 1dpo-7dpo... I have no idea if that’s just an old wives tale or if it really does help with implantation, but considering I got pregnant this month I’ll be advocating for TTCers to do so too! Can’t hurt right :) I just want to say for all those CP checkers out there - my CP is still on the lower side and med/hard, so CP is not a reliable indicator..or at least for me it wasn’t. Again, I know we were really lucky to fall pregnant on the second month of trying, I am extremely thankful and just wish all the best to every single person who is TTCing. Good luck to everyone!

First BFP after 3 years

Lots of baby dust to all of you, and good luck! xx
