About me:
I'm 27 years old and had been on birth control since 19 (Mirena for 4 years, the pill for 4 years). I came off the pill in November 2015. I started "trying" in January of this year and just so happened to ovulate 2+ weeks late and had a 50 day cycle during which I took about a billion urine tests AND a blood test and wasn't pregnant. After that I had very regular cycles (30-31 days) and always have strong right sided pain during ovulation which CD 16 or 17 and 14 day luteal phase. But THIS month I ovulated a week late on CD23 had strong LEFT sided pain. I just knew I'd get pregnant this month because my left ovary got in the game! Lol!
1 day before ovulation: Moderate left sided ovarian cramps all day, EWCM, high fertile ovulation test, BD using preseed.
O day: EWCM, positive ovulation test, excruciating left side cramp, bloating, BD once with preseed.
1 DPO: ovarian cramps gone, thank God!
2-5 DPO: nothing
5-10 DPO: Urinating way more often without increased fluid intake. Urine is lighter in color than usual. Waking up hungry and having to eat cereal bars on the way to work. Eating lunch on 8DPO and became very nauseous and couldn't swallow the food in my mouth! Spit it into the trash can and drank some sprite and was ok.
10 DPO: Cramps at night like AF is coming. Checks cervix, med softness and would normally be really firm this late in the cycle. I wanted to take a test but decided to wait until at least 12 dpo.
11 DPO: wakes up and cramps are still present. Finally caved and took clinical guard HCG test with 3rd or 4th urine of the day and BAM! BFP! Ran into room and showed DH two lines and of course he didn't know what it meant lol. But now we are ecstatic. So excited for our first baby!
If you're expecting, congrats! If you're trying, the best thing to do is RELAXXXXXX.
