A little late but wanted to show my support

Hi ladies,

I remember coming to this website every day of the month for at least a year. Now, I am 35 weeks pregnant. But I remembered how supportive it was to me to read about the BFP stories and what I could look for and any advice provided.

I was TTC for 2 years with my husband - I used ovulation calculators and checked my CM every day for the perfect EWCM but to no avail. The last time I had gotten pregnant, it was a surprise so I had no idea how stressful trying to become pregnant could be.

At last, despite my husband saying it took the romance out of it, I invested in ovulation sticks. I was convinced we were just missing the window and that by using them it would help. And boy did it ever. I got pregnant with 2 months of using the sticks and the best part is you get a ton in a package so you can test multiple times a day if you are obsessed like I was.

Day 1-7: Nothing, no symptoms
Day 8: Tired, mild nausea.
Day 9: Same
Day 10: Same
Day 11: Back ache, tired
Day 12-14: Feeling tired and not hungry at all.
Day 15: Light BFP
Day 16: Dark BFP
Day 18: Confirmed at doctor's office with blood test.

So here is my advice:
Get the ovulation sticks -they really do help take the guesswork out of when you are ovulating.
Do not stress if your symptoms are not overly obvious - I got my positive blood test and still didn't really feel pregnant until about 12 weeks along.
Don't rely on counting the days of your cycle - mine were regular but I still missed the mark for over a year on when I usually ovulate.

Sending happy thoughts your way! Thank you to this community for keeping me hopeful during those late nights on the computer wondering why it wasn't happening.
