Hey everyone, so happy to post I have my BFP!!
It was a funny month this month as I thought I was out (third month ttc) and previous months I was convinced! Also, I think I ovd earlier than I thought as regular 28 daycycle, but used CM as a guide.
Dh was away the day I got my strongest positive opk and lots of ewcm. He was back the next day and I still had a positive opk but not as strong as day before and some ewcm. We bd that day (5th) the 6th and the 8th. I'm not sure of my ov date but I had neg result 7th so I've been going by the 6th as a guide. I was concerned I'd missed the window as not as much BD leading up to ov. So the usual symptom spotting, though Id tried not to read into every little thing as previous months I'd become so caught up I was too stressed. I tracked using Ovia and also used pre conception vits this month.
2dpo- sore bbs. Similar to before af but earlier.
4dpo- sore nipples, like shooting pains never felt before.
7/8dpo- slight nausea, bbs still tender more so than before AF and this has continued since.
9dpo- back ache, tender bbs and nipples
10 dpo- back ache (everyday now, like a dull ache)dizzy, nausea, light veins bbs.
11 dpo- headache, BFN strip in evening.
This is where it got interesting. So I binned my neg strip test, but the next day Had the urge to look at it. There were two lines!! So frantically googled and read about evap lines , not waiting outside ten min window etc though some people said if it's coloured it could be bfp and mine was was pink. I tried to not get over excited and test with fmu. Next day tested, BFN! I kept looking at it all day and it didn't change. So I thought it's too early or I'm out. Did another that evening, faint BFP! Seems my fmu wasnt showing. This one came quicker too! So I thought I'd wait a few days and buy a FRER. Tested and there in less than a minute were two strong lines!! It's my DH bday tomorrow so I've wrapped it up as a suprise.
The reason I say I thought I was out was because I thought we'd missed the window, I had no CM After ov at all! And read so many people do get it! And the confusion with those strips.
My biggest symptoms which were unusual for me were sore bbs early, no CM, CONSTANT sneezing and frequent urination.
Sorry it's long winded but I know for me reading others stories in the past three months has kept me going and given hope.
