I'm a total symptom stalker, so every month of ttc, I KNEW I was pregnant, went through a million tests just to be wrong. This month was different. I KNEW but in a different way than all the other times.
O Day: I was at my brother's house, went to the bathroom and noticed I had a TON OF ewcm. DH and I had stopped trying for about 2 months at the point, so I told him "I have never seen this much ewcm before. This is our chance!" We ditched my brother and went home to dtd lol we also used preseed just to help things along.
1dpo: Dtd again, for good luck. No symptoms other than ovulation pain, which I always get the day after.
2dpo: I broke out in zits. I remember telling hubby that I never break out right after ovulation. Only closer to AF. We noted that it was odd.
3dpo: More acne on my face, I was really moody. Hubby made me a drink to help take the edge off lol after one drink I noticed I felt drunk, like as if I had 2 or 3 drinks on an empty stomach. I drank a ton of water and went to bed early, feeling tired.
4dpo: Started to get a runny nose, but nothing else I really noticed.
5dpo: Felt tugging pain behind my belly button. Almost like a dull throbbing that only lasted a few minutes.
6dpo: Felt emotional...angry mostly and got and at DH for nearly everything.
7dpo: started to feel hungry more often. If I didn't eat right when my body told me I needed to, I got huuuge stomach pains. Took a hpt and it was bfn
8dpo: same as 7dpo but didn't test. My female cat became really affectionate and protective over me. She was by my side all day and all night. The last time she is that was when I was pregnant with DD.
9dpo: Really hungry, exhausted, some cramps that were strong enough to make me heel over until they subsided.
10dpo: Hubby left for a 10 day trip. My daughter (14 months) started saying "Baba, Mama!" And pointing at me. She doesn't take a bottle so baba to us means baby, like her dolls usually. At night, in bed, I felt my stomach/womb almost throbbing. It wasn't painful, just really noticeable.
11dpo: I textedy DH telling him about the throbbing I had the night before. He said "Buy a test!" So I packed up the kid and went straight to the store lol Got a FRER 6 days sooner and after the 3 minutes, there was actually a line! No squinting or trying to find the right light! It was there clear as day! Felt emotional all day, cried a ton lol
I've had 4 miscarriages before my daughter, and my Dr said I might never have children at all before I had her. So this second baby is really a blessing. I'm still testing every day to make sure that second line stays there. With my previous pregnancies, I never got a line until after my missed period, but this time it was 6 days before AF is due! We're hopeful and feeling so happy!
